We are delighted to announce the next conference in the Advances in Marine Ecosystem Modelling Research (AMEMR) series will take place in July 2027 hosted again at the University of Plymouth. 

Marine ecosystem modelling is a fundamental tool for understanding the structure and function of marine ecosystems and for projecting potential future environmental change. As scientific knowledge, technological capabilities, and societal needs continue to evolve, the development and application of marine models remain at the forefront of marine science and environmental management.

AMEMR provides a unique interdisciplinary forum for discussion and collaboration between modellers, observational scientists, experimental researchers, and stakeholders. The conference aims to foster the exchange of ideas and promote advances in the conceptualisation, design, development, and application of marine ecosystem models across a wide range of disciplines and scales.

Whether you are developing innovative modelling approaches, generating the observations and data that underpin marine models, or applying models to address pressing environmental challenges, AMEMR 2027 offers an opportunity to share knowledge, build collaborations, and help shape the future of marine ecosystem modelling.
